Utterly Blessed Pieces O Eight

Pieces O Eight, informally known as "Cora" was the very first adult ADGA registered doe I purchased back in 2019. Cora was such a funny doe - ornery and yet loving - very set in her ways as an aged doe. Cora gave me my first set of quints, my first set of quads, and my first set of AI kids. Cora gave me all she had and blessed me with her daughter - Crescent Ranch Carolina Queen - a doe I foresee being a foundation doe for the future of my herd. Cora passed peacefully in early 2023 at the ripe old age of 10. While I wish I could have had 10 more years with her, at the time her health was steadily declining and I made the difficult decision to put her to rest.

Bellafire HH Patty Cake

Patty has been with us since 2020 and while our start with her was a bit rocky (she was a bit skittish lol) she settled in quickly & has been a great love of mine ever since. Unfortunately her first kidding with us, Patty had two stillborn kids. Despite treating with antibiotics and later various fertility meds, Patty never settled for us again. Patty turns 11 this year (in 2024) so we have let her retire here as well. She can usually be found with large groups of babies following her :)

Patty was laid to rest this March after a rough kidding she just couldn't quite recover from 💔

Lil Miss B Haven Solomon's Magic

I hadn't had the intention of letting Magic go either, but again, due to a series of unfortunate events, I allowed her to leave here with Cali so that they may have a friend at their new home.

Crescent Ranch A Long Story

Story left during the first reduction of our herd in the year 2024 in an effort to make life easier here. I am thankful she was also able to leave with a friend (Cora Pearl, listed directly below). I know that my friend at Diggy Dog is taking wonderful care of my girls as well!

Flying Feets HB Cora Pearl

Cora was an extremely difficult doe to let go of - if you've ever seen her mammary you would understand why! She is a truly phenomenal doe and I hope to see her do amazing things for her new owner.

Lil Miss B Haven WM Charmed

Charmed left as part of our "final" dispersal in 2024. Due to family-related health struggles, I elected to sell of 95% of my herd so that I may have the time to spend with family during this time. Charmed was never a doe I had intended on selling and in fact was another extremely difficult loss in my herd. Thankfully, Charmed was able to leave with her son, Renrivier BL Hocus Pocus to Glimmerwood where I know she will be extra loved.

Stayawhile FIN Ancient Fable

Fable left right before my 2024 dispersal but my reasoning for it being that I wanted her to serve as a foundation doe for a herd that needed her. While I loved her tremendously, I also felt that my attention had focused elsewhere & Fable was falling behind on my list of does. She deserved to be put on a pedestal and so I am thankful to my friends at Heartwood Haven for giving her exactly that.

Castle Rock Amitron

Amitron came to us in late 2023 and was a wonderful little addition. Unfortunately this litter was part of the struggles we suffered in 2024. I elected not to breed Amitron for 2025 kids because she no longer has any of her front teeth and I worried about her being able to get adequate nutrition during pregnancy. In addition to this, Amitron is truly not a well put together doe, so I didn't feel it would contribute to the breed to continue breeding her.
Retired 2024
Cuatlilredbarn Fuddy Duddy

I'm sure many people have wondered where Fuddy went. Well - Fuddy is still here. I made the decision to "retire" Fuddy because he is the most aggressive buck I have ever owned. He quite literally put a hole in the side of my barn and is just extremely difficult to handle. So, instead of passing along the problem, I decided to cease use of him and to keep him here to live out his days. I know people will disagree with this decision but it was simply what I felt most comfortable doing.
