SALES TERMS & CONDITIONS

By placing a reservation with us, you are agreeing to abide by this policy.

1. Reservation Process

If you are interested in a kid from us, please use the form on the kidding schedule to add your name and contact information to our waitlist. We do not require a deposit to join the waitlist. However, if the selected pairing results in the kid you requested, you will be required to pay a deposit of $100 to reserve the kid. If your kid is born, we will notify you within 48 hours of birth. You will then have an additional 48 hours to pay the required deposit. If we do not hear back from you within this time frame, we will move on to the next person on our list.

2. Deposit Policy

This deposit will only be refunded if we cannot fill your reservation due to our own retaining or in cases of injury, defect, or death of the kid while on our premises.

If the kid you wanted was not born, we will offer you the option of another pairing or rolling over your reservation to the following year.

We will not refund because you have changed your mind. Please keep this in mind when placing a deposit!

3. Kid Pickup and Bottle Feeding
All kids will be offered on a bottle at two to four weeks of age. We will not sell more than two bottle kids to one household unless the buyer is an experienced bottle feeder. Bottle feeding can be difficult if it is new to you, so we ensure our customers are well-equipped. We provide a "how to" session on proper bottle feeding and a packet with tips and tricks for bottle feeding kids.

If a kid stays here beyond four weeks of age, we will charge a $5/day boarding fee until eight weeks. If still not picked up and no prior arrangements have been made, the kid deposit will be kept, and the kid will be listed for sale once more. Please understand that due to the chaos that is kidding season, I greatly appreciate you picking up your kid in a timely manner!

If you pick up the kid from our farm between 2 & 3 weeks of age, I will discount the kid by $50. If two kids are purchased, total price will be discounted by $100. Discount does not apply to wether purchases since they are already discounted to $50.

4. Goat Companionship
Goats will not be sold to homes that do not already have goats unless more than one goat is purchased. Goats require goat companionship, and this is non-negotiable. We are always happy to set you up with a wether companion (at a small cost) for your new kid if you do not have goats yet.

5. Wether Banding
Wethers will not be banded before 12 weeks of age. You are welcome to bring your kid back to us for banding or have a person of your choice perform the banding or castration.

6. Registration and Health
All kids will be sold with their ADGA registration unless purchasing a wether. Male kids will only be sold with registration paperwork if being purchased as a buck. All kids will be tattooed, disbudded, and given coccidia prevention. Kids will receive their CDT vaccine if they are still on the farm at or after four weeks of age; otherwise, giving this vaccine will be the responsibility of the buyer. We do vaccinate dams with CDT 30 days pre-kidding,

7. Defects and Replacements
If an animal is found to have a congenital or genetic defect that would disqualify them from the show ring (with exception to height - see below), or prevent that animal from breeding, a replacement animal will be offered with medical evidence of such a defect from a licensed veterinarian and/or accredited veterinary medical teaching hospital. Replacements will be from the current or next available breeding season based upon availability. We do our best to breed for animals that fall below the maximum height allowance as set forth by ADGA, but we cannot guarantee the height of mature bucks or does.

8. Transportation and Costs
The buyer is responsible for ensuring appropriate transportation for purchased kid(s) and covering any transportation costs/vet checks/certificates required. When an animal needs a CVI (certificate of veterinary inspection), the cost of the CVI is $90 - this is the responsibility of the buyer. If your animal needs to cross state lines, please include these fees when paying the purchase price. Our vet will add any/all additional animals to the CVI at a cost of $32 per additional animal. We are happy to work with outside transporters and can recommend Red River Transport, Nigerian Dwarf Goat Express Transportation, Tarr Valley Farm Transport, and Culver Family Farm Transport. Although we have not flown kids out yet, we are willing to help with the process. All costs associated with flying (crate/supplies/flight/etc) are the buyer's responsibility. Animals and/or any transport-related costs must be paid in full before the animal gets on transport or is picked up by the buyer – no exceptions. We ensure our animals are healthy when they leave the farm, but we cannot provide a guarantee beyond their departure due to the stress of shipping and transportation.

9. Privacy Policy
We do not share any of your personal information with anyone.

10. Final Sales
All sales are final. By placing a reservation with us, you agree to all the information listed above.
